WATCH: Man details baby mama drama during Podcast and Chill session

by Bongiwe Mati

The Podcast and Chill with MacGyver “MacG” Mukwevho, Solomzi “Sol” Phenduka and Ghostlady recently visited  Gqeberha, a city that was previously known as Port Elizabeth, to host a live podcast episode.

The podcast episode took place in a sold-out venue and saw Gqeberha-born artist iFani in the guest panel, while comedian Siya Seya kept the crowd in stitches with his jokes and humour.

Mpho Popps the master of ceremony also went around the crowd, giving those who wished to comment the microphone.

The topic concerning baby mama drama (problems caused by women to their kids’ fathers after breaking up) came to light, prompting a man in the crowd to share his experience relating to the topic.

The man detailed that his ex whom he had one child with was being difficult as she wanted him to buy her two kids whom he does not father, whatever he was getting for his child.

The man said:

“Ladies, if you’re going to leave me, a real guy, for a Mickey Mouse with no money you must be sure. The issue I have in my life is that the baby mama decided to leave me and go for a broke guy, now when I bring my kid real stuff it’s a problem because now I need to bring all the kids stuff.”

He continued, “I cannot, because I need to focus on my kid and bring the stuff. She now has three kids, I have one with her. I can not bring the stuff I want to bring because how will the other ones feel.”

It so happened that the baby mamma he was referring to was in the crowd. Mpho went to hear her side of the story and she said if someone gives out R500, he deserves to be dumped.

She also dismissed claims that she had three kids saying she has two.

The woman also pointed out that the man might not have been talking about her.
