Internet users were left stunned by a video that has recently been making rounds on the socials; where pupils could be seen in taxi vans drinking alcohol during school hours.
The astonishing video was shared by a woman with a username @buimaseko on her TikTok page.
The video is shot in an informal taxi rank alleged to be in Primrose, Johannesburg. In a video, an old man can be seen going around in minibus taxis, searching for school pupils who were drinking alcohol in the taxis; which begged the question that said “Where were the taxi drivers?”
The old man opened the first taxi and demanded that the school children should get out of the taxi while he was shouting and confiscating their alcohol.
He then moved to another taxi, eventually finding more pupils in a purple taxi. The schoolchildren can be seen jumping out of the taxi with some of them wearing their school uniforms.
The old man cleaned the taxi and collected all the alcohol they left inside; including their 5L wine and bottle ciders. The man then took it upon himself to destroy the alcohol they left behind and broke every bottle and emptied the boxed wine.

Taking to the comment section were concerned TikTok users, with some showing different views on the matter:
One user said, “I want to know about the irresponsible taxi drivers, how can they allow this?”
Another one said, “But they now wearing school uniforms mos.”
The video also made it to X (formerly Twitter) where users took to the comment section to share their views.
