While Grammy-award winner Tyla’s hit single Water continues to rank 67 on the US Billboard Hot 100, a TikTok creator has captured the Nigerian version of the song, leaving internet users in stitches.

TikTok creator @naomibk posted a video of her attending a Nigerian wedding where Tyla’s song could be heard playing in the background. This version of the hit single caused a funny reaction from internet users with some jokingly commenting that this song was a version from Temu.

What made the Nigerian version of Water particularly interesting is that the song is more fast-paced and the words are not the same as the original lyrics of the song. The creator posted the video with the caption, “My cousin wanted Tyla at her wedding and someone said we’ve got Tyla at home.”

Many TikTok users took to the comment section where they shared what version of the hit song it was.

One user compared the Nigerian version of the hit song to the “Temu” version.

Another user commented that the singer and songwriter reposted this TikTok on her social media platforms.

While a third user commented: “The ‘wora wora’ sent me so bad.”

One TikTok user joked that this song version was made from scratch by popular TikToker Nara Smith who is famously known for her cooking videos by making food from scratch on the app.
