In celebration of Women’s Month, a moving video has captured the hearts of social media users showcasing a powerful act of kindness between women on the essence of this special month.

The video trending across social media, features a woman who extends a helping hand to another in desperate need.

In the clip shared by Maphepha Ndaba on Instagram, a woman recounts her harrowing experience of coming to Pretoria in search of employment, only to face homelessness and exploitation.

In the video, the kind-hearted woman offered to help the homeless woman who expressed a deep longing to return home. “I could go home if I had the money,” the homeless woman is heard saying.

The video shows the homeless woman visibly clean and smiling with joy, standing near a bus with her belongings, excited and ready to take her journey home.

Struggling with harsh realities, the woman describes being preyed upon and subjected to violence by those who promised financial assistance but instead abused her sexually.

“I came to Pretoria looking for a Job, but I was never hired. I lost all my money and slept in the streets of Pretoria. I get raped all the time by Men who promise to pay me R70 per round, but this never happens as they rape and beat me when I ask for payment,” said the woman.
