Another day, another drama as a woman posts videos of what she found in her Lindt chocolates.

From rat remains in bread to worms and drug packets in snacks, health inspections are never beating the allegations when it comes to not checking store health rules and regulations.

Sometime around it was not just your local spaza stores that went under fire in the communities but also big franchises such as Roman’s Pizza, Sasko Bread and now Dis-Chem as a lady found maggots in her chocolate.

According to IOL, this alleged suspect was a woman from Durban by the name of Mellissa Ngcobo who recently went viral for sharing videos of what she found in the chocolates that she had brought to the mall.

In the videos, she recounts what happened,  “I didn’t notice initially that they were spoiled because I bought a variety pack, which comes with different flavours- dark chocolate, milk chocolate, hazelnut etc. I had a few of them and then when I opened the hazelnut flavour on November 14, that’s when I noticed they were spoiled, maggots were popping out of it.”

According to her surprise, these chocolates had a best-before date of 2025 finding these maggots in them did not make sense as they had not rotten at the time of her surprise.

Customers are encouraged to be vigilant when buying goods from stores has many people have come forward to share the disgusting things they have found in their foods upon purchasing them. Before eating it you should always inspect the product as sometimes you will find things in it.

In this video, the live maggots are seen dancing in the chocolates.
