WATCH: Baby comforts her mom as she breaks down in front of her

Social media users were touched by a baby who comforted her mom when she burst into tears in front of her.

The video shared by @thedlotos was captioned “Tell me you are pregnant without tell me you are pregnant.”

In the video, the mother suddenly cries, and the baby [Mello] tries to comfort her. Mello apologises to her mother because to a child it is standard procedure to apologise when someone is crying.

The mother replies saying, “No I should say sorry to you.” Mello continued to assure her mother that everything is going to be okay, and daddy will come back.

As the video ends, Mello wipes her mother’s tears and hugs her. In a detailed caption, the mother explained, “Till today, I still don’t know why I cried so much. It was not so long ago when I was the happiest girl and here, I was just going through my schoolwork and yes, I found myself crying uncontrollably.”

“The pregnancy journey is indeed different, with our first born I was always happy, and I don’t remember crying a lot and the only time I cried was during my labour period. But now, as simple as someone saying, “I love you” and I’m all wet,” she added.

She concluded by saying that even though she went through that, she would not trade that moment for anything.
