Let’s face it. We all want glowing skin, and we use so many products to achieve this desire. Imagine a body that’s not ashy, cracked, or acne-prone, but instead has smooth, radiant skin that screams health!

According to Skin How, “A body polish is a type of skin treatment that uses exfoliating acids and oils to remove dead cells from the surface of the skin. It can be used on any part of the body, including face, scalp, elbows, and knees.”

It is mentioned by the above source that this particular spa treatment moisturizes and exfoliates your skin. It resembles giving your entire body a facial in certain ways. It can be done at home or in a spa.

This is why you should consider a body polish:

The health-focused publication, Healthline says that a body polish soothes, hydrates dry skin and encourages cell regeneration to support healthy skin.

The health publication also states that you are welcome to try this at home, however, treatments at the salon can be more specifically tailored to meet the needs of your unique skin.

According to the health hub mentioned above, salons offer the following options to choose from, “Anti-cellulite polish, which uses invigorating ingredients to help improve circulation, a glow-enhancing polish which uses certain oils to leave the body feeling soft and nourished, or a tan-optimising polish which prepares the skin for optimal spray tan application.”

Carisma Spa and Wellness claims that you will feel relaxed and fresh after the treatment due to the gentle massage motion that is used to encourage circulation, release tension, and promotes calmness.
