FlySafair’s R9 flight tickets had South Africa glued to their gadgets as early as they could yesterday.

The airline had 50 000 one-way tickets (including airport taxes) for local and its over-boarder flights selling for just R9.

Those who were lucky to get these tickets expressed their joy, while those who missed out did not hold back.

One excited user commented, “Got 2 tickets to Durban!!!… The wait was Soooooo worth it #FlySafairLuckyR9Winner super grateful to #FlySafair …. My first time ever winning Anything, LUCKY and BLESSED.
