Every summer season, we experience a summer that is hugely hotter than the previous ones. While this is quite the norm, kids often look for ways to cool them down after a hot school day.

The costs and expenses of Janu-worry often come with an extremely tight budget that cannot afford the luxuries of December holidays, such as endless ice cream servings and lollies. In this financially restricting month, we’ve got you covered with a yummy treat that will bring a sense of reviving the heat to the summer day of you and your kids.

The recipe will make you the most relaxed parent and make returning home from school fun. Making these refreshing treats can be bonding time, as you and your little ones will enjoy making them together.

Worry not because they require little time, effort, or requirements. The fun part is that everything you will find in your kitchen is the ingredients needed. The recipe accommodates everyone and can be simplified or intensified based on preference.

These are the ingredients and methods to follow, provided by Portia Mashaba – a self-taught cook and online digital content creator.

What do I need to make these yogurt popsicles?

  • Different fruits.
  • Small yogurts of your choice.
  • Popsicle/wooden sticks.
  • Sweetener (optional)

How do I make them?

  • Cut your fruits into small bite sizes.
  • Sprinkle some sweetener onto your fruits (this step is optional)
  • Open your yogurts and place the small fruits in them.
  • Stir your yogurts.
  • Place the popsicle sticks.
  • Allow to set in freezer.
  • Enjoy.
