It is often said that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but one could argue that, that might be the way to the hearts of every South African.

From some of the most tender servings of steak, to the flaming hot meat on the braai coals and if there is not time to prepare either of the many delectable delicacies, a nice and juicy burger is more than able to do the trick and where better to experience it all than in South Africa’s Mother City, Cape Town.

The city is known for having a number of burger restaurants that are guaranteed to tickle your taste buds, regardless of whether you are vegan or enjoy your meat.

The Dog’s Bollock at Yard

Located in Gardens at the heart of Cape Town, this establishment has been serving locals for nearly two decades. There 5-star rating proves exactly why. While they pride themselves on providing customers with a delicious meal, they also provide an experience that has many coming back again.

The NOB

Looking for the biggest and juiciest burger in Cape Town, the NOB at Tygerfalls in Tygervalley is definitely the place for you! This restaurant is accompanied by one of Cape Town’s most majestic views and an atmosphere to back it up.
