A little boy took the internet by storm after his infectious dance moves stole the show at what appeared to be his school’s end-of-the-year concert.

The 3 minutes and 10 seconds clip – which has since amassed over 17 million views – was shared on TikTok by a user named Karel Olivier. In the video, the boy dressed in top-to-bottom khaki is seen giving it his all on stage, while adding a bit of his own choreography, to the Afrikaans song Lyfie by Bernice West.

“Die Here het my mooi gemaak (The Lord made me beautiful),” read the caption of the post, which is also the phrase mentioned in the song.

The viral video garnered many comments and was shared on all social media platforms. Under the original video on TikTok, people commented:

“He understood the assignment. Super cute. Made my day.”

“His back up dancers are so lost ????.”

“Why do I feel this little guy added his own steps? ?? The way others are lost and trying to follow him kills me. Love this video ?.”

“Well done parents for raising such a happy child ❤️.”

Media personality and choreographer Somizi Mhlongo shared the video on Instagram captioning the video, “Found this video of me at 6 years old in a school concert. No need to tell you which one is me. It’s bar one mos.”
