
A lucky player in South Africa won R59 million from the Friday PowerBall draw, purchasing the winning ticket via the Standard Bank banking app.
The PowerBall Plus draw was rolled over to Tuesday with an estimated jackpot of R12 million, the National Lottery Ithuba said.
Sharing this news on their X, former Twitter app, the national lottery commented:

Over the weekend, 10 other lottery players also won various amounts ahead of an interest rate announcement.
Additionally, the Daily Lotto had multiple winners, including a R450,000 jackpot estimated for Monday’s draw.
