According to Hermanus Tourism, adults are not the only ones who benefit from visiting this beautiful town. But so can children. While here, Hermanus tourism highlights that there are multiple spots you can take your family to where your children will have a holiday to remember. These include the Banguela Cove Adventure Pirate Golf, Klein Rivier Farmstead, Wonderland Café and Rocklands petting farm.
Shark Cage Diving
Considered by many as the ultimate thrill, in Hermanus you are also given the opportunity to fellowship with the kings of the ocean – sharks.
“A thirty minute drive from Hermanus, Gansbaai is the shark-cage diving capital of the world. Between June and September, migrating great white sharks spend a few months around Dyer Island which is home to a colony of Cape fur seals – a great white’s favourite meal.”
While most people watch from behind the bars of a cage, Dirty Boots highlight that there is an option to explore from the top of the boat.
