The long-awaited summer season is nearing, and a body that looks flawless is a must! If you are struggling with getting your skin soft and smooth, dry brushing might just be something you need to try. Here’s why:

According to the health-centred publication Healthline, “Dry skin brushing benefits may include stimulating the lymphatic system, exfoliating the skin, removing toxins, increasing circulation and energy, and reducing cellulite.”

It is mentioned by the health publication that dry and dead skin cells can be removed from the skin by using the coarse bristles, leaving skin softer and smoother as a result.

Like a massage, a dry brushing session may help you feel relaxed, the health hub above adds.

The Cleveland Clinic claims that dry brushing has the added benefit of stimulating your neurological system, which can help you feel good.

“Removing dead skin cells can help make your skin smoother and softer. It can also give your skin a brighter appearance temporarily,” according to the above clinic.

The Body Shop suggests making use of a “brush with firm, natural bristles like our Round Body Brush or Cactus Long Handle Brush, to slough away those dead skin cells.”

The above skincare source also advises individuals to look after their brush just as their skin, and further adding, to always remember to give it a quick rinse in the sink after each dry brushing session as well as deep clean your body brush once a week with soap and water, then leave it aside to dry.
