Fun and easy crafts kids will love

PICTURE: PEXELS/ CRAFTS FOR THE KIDS

One of the effective ways to encourage children’s creativity while keeping them interested in an enjoyable, hands-on activity is through crafting.

Simple activities provide kids the ideal chance to use their imaginations, whether it’s on a rainy day or during some free time at home.

These games are also most of the time inexpensive and practical for parents because they only call for simple supplies that you already have lying around the house. Every child may find something fascinating to enjoy.

It is no secret that children enjoy getting messy and making things they can be proud of, and the best part is that crafting fosters self-expression, focus, and creativity skills, so take a look at the below suggestions for your little ones to try out.

Handprint Art

The kids can attempt transforming tiny handprints into artistic creations! They can make fun shapes like butterflies, fish, or flowers by dipping their hands in paint and pressing them onto paper. Use paint or markers for add-ons, and you’ll have a colourful display on the fridge.

Paper plate animals

Paper plates, paint, markers, and a little creativity are all you need! Allow the children to paint and decorate the plates to make their favourite animals. Include construction paper ears, googly eyes, and possibly even whiskers from a pipe cleaner. There’s so much to create!

Make your own Slime

Children love slime. This gooey delight can be quickly made with only a little glue, baking soda, and contact lens solution. Allow them to select vibrant colours and, for an extra touch to it, add glitter! What’s even better? Playing with it is just as much fun as making it.
