Lindiwe Sisulu, a prominent figure in South African politics and intelligence, has taken a stand against what she perceives as damaging rhetoric being made online. Lindiwe has filed a criminal complaint against Muhammad Suliman Vawda, who operates on social media under the handle @Goolammv.

The affidavit, which The Star has reviewed, details Lindiwe’s allegations against Muhammad. According to the affidavit, Muhammad, who has reportedly fled to Mauritius after being identified by Independent Media’s investigative journalists, faces charges of hate speech, cyberbullying, and crimen injuria. Lindiwe claims these offenses have been perpetrated over a span of more than six years on various social media platforms.

Lindiwe expressed frustration to The Citizen, highlighting that Muhammad been obsessively targeting her on social media. She further questioned why Muhammad appears more focused on her than on significant national issues like Phala Phala.

I still can’t get over the fact that Iqbal Surve’s side piece, Lindiwe Sisulu is blaming me for her not been elected ANC president in 2022. ? ?She claims my campaign against her, lost her the elections. I thought ANC presidency elections are won and lost in the branches.… pic.twitter.com/KGywSSowPB
