What is summer without a good refreshment? Fortunately, Cape Town offers that in abundance…

If you find yourself living in or even planning on visiting the Mother City this festive season, there are loads of excursions you can go on that will fill your heart with endless memories. This will ensure that your time away from the office will be one to remember.

One of the many attractions the city has to offer, aside from its natural mountain views or the majestic vistas of the Cape Winelands, is its abundant beaches to visit.

From the white sands of Camps Bay to the turquoise waters of Llandudno beach, there is so much to choose from. Meanwhile, the true gems are often found in the tranquility that comes when visiting some of the abundant tidal pools that the city has on offer.

These natural wonders provide a safe space for both young and old, and shelter swimmers from rough seas and dangerous currents. This could also be an ideal opportunity to get out, read a book, and unwind while the kids build little sandcastles and enjoy the summer heat.

If visiting one of the many tidal pools that the city has on offer is part of your bucket list, we have a few recommendations that will help you decide on which areas to explore.
