EFF visits granny following viral assault video

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party paid a distraught grandmother assaulted by her grandson in a viral video a visit in the hospital.

A video that left many internet users emotional after a young Kraaifontein boy, LuvoNgqaza assaulted and intimated his grandmother. In the video, the boy points at her and pushes he to the ground, she says, “Undibulalelani Luvo” (Why are you killing me Luvo).

After making its rounds on the internet, many internet users felt that the boy should be arrested for his vile actions towards his grandmother. According to news publication, IOL, the grandmother refused to submit a statement and upon investigation, it was revealed that the incident happened a month ago.

Despite the incident happening last month, Western Cape SAPS spokesperson, Colonel Andrè Traut, told the above-mentioned source that a docket of opened on behalf of the grandmother leading to Luvo’s arrest earlier this week.

He says, “Crimes against women and children are a top priority for SAPS, and we will not turn a blind eye to any form of violence in this regard.”

Online publication, MDN News, posted pictures on X (previously known as Twitter) of the party in the hospital as well as the viral video of Luvo assaulting his grandmother causing many X users to share their opinions on the video.

This comes after she was seen in a video, being brutally assaulted by her grandson Luvo Ngqaza (19)
