Do soul ties really exist?

The idea of a soul tie is becoming more popular on TikTok and among Generation Z, who are increasingly searching outside the confines of traditional religion for the answers to the great problems in life.

A strong spiritual bond between two people is known as a soul tie, and it produces a mutually beneficial learning experience.

“The human mind consciously and unconsciously strives for feelings of safety and meaning by gravitating toward constructs that give shape and perceived understanding,” says relationship expert Megan Weks.

According to marriage.com, over time, soul ties and soul mates have been used in conjunction with one another. One must presumably share a soul connection with their soulmate. This might not be fully accurate, though.

When you find your soulmate, you may almost instantly sense the connection. Many people who have found their soulmates claim that the connection was instantaneous or nearly so. Your soulmate and you have a strong, immediate connection (in most cases).

With soul ties, this is not the case. Soul ties take time to develop; they may even manifest after you have slept with someone or much later in life. You might not have a strong emotional connection to the person until the soul tie begins to work.

Knowing what soul ties are is the first step you must take toward breaking them and moving on with your wholesome life. However, you can know what soul ties are, how they work, and how they can even limit your life and still choose to stay in the relationship.

The decision to break them is up to you to make. If you feel overwhelmed, do not hesitate to seek professional help. Therapists will come in handy to help you make sense of what you are feeling and overcome these unhealthy emotions (if they exist for you and you believe in them).
