Cold weather sparks frustration as Cape Town awaits summer

In Cape Town, nothing frustrates people more than the weather, as it feels like we are never escaping the shackles of stormy conditions.

As we slowly approach spring, Cape Town residents expect cooler and warmer conditions but as of late have been disappointed at how much it rains.

According to the travelling hub, Rough Guides, the mother city is usually cold during this time whereas summer weather is usually expected from December to February.

The above-mentioned source suggests those wanting to visit the city come during colder months as prices for accommodation and entertainment are lower.

These cold weather conditions have caused a vast majority of internet users to express their frustrations as places like Johannesburg are already in summer.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) users shared their experiences with Cape Town weather.
