5 Ways to clean your acrylic wall without damaging it

Acrylic walls can add a unique and modern touch to any space, but they require special care and attention to maintain their beauty. With the right techniques, you can clean your acrylic wall without causing any damage.

Here are five ways to clean your acrylic wall without damaging it suggested by Perspex and Acrylite’s:

Perspex – a brand of acrylic sheeting that is manufactured by Lucite International it is known for its durability and clarity.

  • Use a microfiber cloth and water to gently wipe away dust and dirt.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaning products, such as harsh soaps or glass cleaners.
  • For tougher stains, use a soft sponge and a mild, non-abrasive detergent.
  • Rinse the wall with water after cleaning to remove any residue.
  • Dry the wall with a soft cloth or towel.

Acrylite’s also gives a few tips for cleaning and maintaining your acrylic wall:

  • Avoid using harsh cleaners or cleaning agents, such as acetone or ammonia.
  • Avoid using abrasive materials, such as scouring pads or steel wool.
  • Use a soft cloth to wipe away dust and dirt instead of rubbing or scrubbing.
  • Do not use cloths or sponges that have been used to clean other surfaces.
  • Make sure the cloth is completely dry before wiping down the acrylic.
  • Use a lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the surface.
