Mrs Etzebeth protective of sharing her journey with motherhood

Requests for the confirmation of Eben and Anlia Etzebeth’s daughter’s name, and for more ‘face-time’ with the baby girl,  have filtered into the comments section of the Springbok couple’s social media posts.

Anlia, as a first-time mom, has balanced sharing her journey of motherhood online, with keeping her baby’s privacy safe.

While the couple have always openly shared glimpses of their lives with followers online, their resistance to post photographs of their newborn’s face and/or confirmation of their baby’s name, may possibly be due to their priority as new parents to protect their family’s privacy. A reasoning that many parents will understand.

While Anlia and Eben have not publicly addressed the reason why they choose not to share more information about their parenting journey,  Anlia has previously said that her presence on social media has dipped as the family soaks up every moment of the ‘newborn bubble’ with their daughter.

Recently, the mom and singer has shared posts documenting her experience as a mom. Discovering unconditional love, and the privilege of getting to hold her little one’s hand through every storm and sunny day – all in a manner that upholds the privacy of her daughter.

“I will always be there to hold your hand,” wrote Etzebeth in one post.
