Ways to keep your house clean

It is difficult to juggle everything in your life – work, family and friends. Additionally, you have to do your household chores. Do you ever let your home get messy because you don’t have the energy to clean it?

Life can get busy. And no matter how hard you try, keeping your house clean isn’t always a priority. Here are four simple ways to keep your house clean, even when life gets in the way.

  1. The dishes – While your kettle is boiling for your first cup of tea or coffee in the morning, wash the dishes from the night before. If you have a dishwasher, empty it while you wait.
  2. Cleaning and cooking hand-in-hand – When cooking dinner, many people tend to get carried away and create a big mess. The easiest way to avoid this is to clean as you cook; put things away when you’re done using them, and wipe any mess as it happens.
  3. Leave your shoes at the door – Shoes bring in all kinds of dirt – mud, grass, and leaves – especially those that belong to your children. Leaving them at the door means that you won’t have to clean your carpets or floors as often.
  4. A good cleaning product – The right product makes all the difference. Try the new All Purpose Cream from the Plush Supreme range. It was formulated to remove tough dirt and grime while also cleaning most surfaces such as bathtubs, showers, tiles, counters and floors.

The Plush Supreme All Purpose Cream is available in four variants – lavender, potpourri, spring fresh and lemon. Available at leading retailers for R21.99.
