Get caught up in the intruiging new drama series, Isipho

by Kwanele Mathebula
Isipho

From visions and changing one’s destiny to strangers with special gifts, Isipho pulls out all the stops in this new series.

Set in Muldersdrift and surrounds, Isipho follows the story of Moses Shezi, a former academic, whose peaceful life takes an unexpected turn when he experiences a troubling vision of his daughter’s death.

Drama and intrigue

Moses sets out to find the four strangers in his vision, desperate to change the seemingly inevitable course of destiny. But, when he finds the strangers, he finds that they are not ordinary people – they have special gifts.

Moses and his psychologist wife team up with teachers in the spiritual arts to start an academy for the gifted people they encounter in order to hone their gifts. Along the way, they realise that the students need as much guidance to be the best versions of themselves as they need help in honing their gifts.

A host of new and well-known talent

Isipho stars a host of exciting new talent, alongside some familiar faces. The show stars Nimrod Nkosi as Moses Shezi, Thobani Nzuza as Lwandle, Saint Seseli as Pastor Rametsi, Sparky Xulu as Mpendulo, Wandi Chamane as Nomzingeli, Karabo Maseko as Neo, and introduces Precious Ngidi as Ntombi Shezi and Mbalenhle Mavimbela as Tandzile. And rounding off the cast playing Gogo Nqobile is the iconic actress Themsie Times.

Will fate find the gifted or will Moses cheat his destiny?

Find out on Isipho, Monday to Thursday at 6:30 pm on e.tv, OpenView Channel 104 and DStv channel 194.
