As October gives way to November, Cape Town is turning up the volume with a jam-packed lineup of festivals, markets, and outdoor celebrations. From wine and bubbles in the Winelands to street closures in the CBD, here’s your weekend guide to what’s happening in the Mother City.

The Return of Bree Street Sundays

Kick off your weekend with a true Cape Town classic. Bree Street Sundays returns on 2 November, turning one of the city’s most beloved streets into a car-free celebration of music, food, and culture.

Expect live DJs, pop-up stalls, and open-air fun as locals and tourists reclaim the streets for walking, cycling, and connecting. It’s all about celebrating community and creativity while soaking in the sunshine — a perfect way to ease into summer.

When: 2 November | 10am – 5pm

Splash of Pink at Wonderfontein Wine Estate

There’s no better excuse to wear pink than at Splash of Pink, hosted by Paul René at Wonderfontein Wine Estate in Robertson. This elegant day out is filled with Cap Classique, craft gin, and countryside charm.

Guests can enjoy live music by the Moonshine Band, Saldanha Bay oysters, and lawn games like croquet and boule. Bring your friends, picnic blankets, and your best bubbly energy. Tickets are R325 and include a welcome drink and goodie bag.

ARC Night Market at The Old Biscuit Mill

Beauty meets nightlife at the ARC Night Market in Woodstock. This one-night-only experience offers fragrance, skincare, and makeup pop-ups alongside DJs, prizes, and a complimentary drink from the Rabanne Bar.

Soul Surf Gathering ~ Sunshine Blues

If the ocean is calling, Soul Surf Gathering at Atlantic Surf Collective in Table View brings music and good vibes to the waves. The lineup includes Smoking Room, Pink & Yellow, and SouFlow, promising an evening of soulful blues and coastal energy.

Local traders, raffles, and food stalls add to the atmosphere, making this one of the most chilled and authentic gatherings of the weekend.
