Do you perhaps have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep? Look no further, here is a solution that might come to your rescue.

However, it does require you to have an open mind and a willingness to try something new. They say squatting helps enhance your buttocks features, we say they can also help you sleep better.

Let’s dive into this idea!

According to a physical therapist, “A lot of people don’t exercise, and a lot of people don’t sleep very well.”

“But if they knew that it didn’t take a lot of exercise or a high intensity to improve the quality and duration of sleep, they’d probably be more likely to do it,” the above expert further explains.

Even though you may not be aware of it, you already perform squats on a daily basis. A squat is essentially what happens when you sit down and stand up from a seated posture, claims fitness expert, Heather Fletcher.

According to the Health publication, a study conducted and led by Jennifer Gale, author and PhD candidate revealed that following the return of the participants who were part of the study, their sleep was remotely observed by the researchers. The participants slept for around 27 minutes longer during the exercise breaks than when they sat all evening.

The reason the researchers chose squats is that they work your glutes, hamstrings, and quads, which are your greatest muscles, and you can perform them without large equipment or a lot of room, the above source added.
