In this day and age, we have probably come across several therapies and mental health awareness techniques. We have been told to try different kinds of methods, to take care of and maintain good sanity, and how they work for us has always been different strokes for different okes.

Gone are the days when mental health awareness was a taboo thing to even talk about, now almost everyone is seeking ways to take care of themselves mentally, because, at the end of the day, we all are carrying burdens. Amongst the many methods, there’s one called, Theta healing.

According to the Oscailt Integrative Health Care publication, Theta healing is an energy therapy that uses meditation to release negative beliefs from the subconscious and bring in new positive ones. It is stated that practitioners go into a deep state of relaxation, connect with divine energy, and intuitively scan the client’s body to identify blocks. With the client’s permission, new empowering beliefs are downloaded, the publication explains.

The above source further mentions that this technique helps individuals let go of old trauma and limiting beliefs. “Through supportive counselling and gentle yet powerful energy work, this is a heart-to-heart session that will allow you to fearlessly embrace life and discover your limitless potential.”

The Escape Haven, a getaway retreat focused on mental wellness, explains the benefits of the theta healing therapy, stating that it promotes personal growth, emotional well-being, and healing. It is beloved to enhance intuition, fostering a stronger connection to inner guidance.

While not a replacement for medical treatment, theta healing can compliment physical healing by addressing emotional and mental roots, the above source adds. This therapy is also stated to promote positive thinking, stress reduction, relaxation, and improved spiritual connection, fostering a stronger sense of interconnectedness with others.
