Common thing amongst peers in summer is definitely maintaining good hygiene and this can be caused by so many things that include food, types of toiletries that’s good for your skin, skin hydration and the extremely hot weather. With everything you’re going through in life we have found that keeping good hygiene eases your chances of dealing with mental illnesses and psychotic disorders.

This summer if there is one thing you need to be consistent about it is to maintain good hygiene like hydrating all the time to always keeping a bottle of water with you, keeping to a minimum of two showers a day and having a clean space at all times.

Medical Author: Melissa Conrad Stöppler, MD after doing their research on poor hygiene suggests that other causes of bad hygiene are as follows:

Other causes of poor hygiene

  • Brain Trauma
  • Delusional Disorder
  • Drug-Induced Psychosis
  • Lack of Social Support
  • Physical Disability
  • Poverty

They are caused because of self neglect and unwillingness to take better care of yourself.

Taking care of yourself helps boost your confidence and being more open to be around people and minimizing your chances of getting diseases, feeling fresh and less exhausted. To help you this summer you need these basic things to do:

  1. Check that you are using a good deodorant.
  2. Apply sunscreen.
  3. Wash your hands with soap or using hand sanitiser.
  4. Maintain having a good healthy diet.
  5. Washing your vagina with clean water everyday.
  6. Carry pantyliners in your purse.
  7.  Have a pair of shades to avoid direct contact with the sun.
  8. Shave.

The sooner you get a routine in order, the better your children get used to it and life gets easier.

“Poverty and lack of access to clean water can both have a detrimental effect on a person’s personal hygiene. A person’s mental health can also affect how they take care of themselves. People who are living with certain conditions, such as a psychotic disorder, severe depression, or drug or alcohol use disorder, may find it very difficult to keep up a personal hygiene routine.” says Medical News today.

As we know households are not the same and there are people who barely can afford basic necessities, it helps to have a green bar of soap as it lasts longer and is highly recommended for multiple use to your discretion.
