A TikTok creator’s winter outfits, bought by her father has received a hilarious reaction on the social media platform.

TikTok creator @nqobilelethusimam took to the app to showcase winter outfits she got from her father causing many to laugh as these outfits were not exactly fashion-forward.

The outfits gained immense popularity due to their unique styling, and users appreciated the creator’s effort to ensure warmth during the winter. In the video, the model showcases the outfits, exuding a Y2K aesthetic. This fashion trend from the early 2000s incorporates elements of popular culture and technology from that era, characterised by vibrant colours and bold silhouettes.

Taking to the comment section, TikTok users joked about dad’s outfit choices as well as sharing their own experiences of their father buying them outfits that were not fashionable.

One user said, “Oksalayo you have a dad yazi.”

Another user asked if one of the outfits showcased was a gown, jacket or duvet.

One TikTok user shared that her dad used to buy her outfits like that and that he once got her and her sister orange knee-high boots that they only wore indoors.

Another user compared these outfits to Somizi’s Sompire Kids collection given the bright colours and sequence.

Meanwhile, another TikTok user shared that her dad would come home with the most random outfits that never fitted perfectly but found it cute that her father thought of her when buying her clothes.
