It’s flashback Friday, and who better to celebrate than style icon Rihanna. Let’s take a look at her journey through the ages, and why we will always look to her for wardrobe inspiration.

Rihanna then turned up the heat and got hearts racing in leather. This shoulder padded dress and thigh high boot combo was the definition of fierce, and proved that she was not scared to set tongues wagging.

Who else can pull off five trends in one look but a fashion icon? Rihanna slayed in army print leggings, a crop top, an oversized jacket, statement jewellery and monochrome sunglasses. Whew!! We can hardly deal with all the awesomeness.

Never shy to show a bit of skin Rihanna turned heads and started a revolution on the red carpet in a plunging neckline and thigh high slit dress.

If you have not either rocked this look or seen someone who has then you live under a rock. Pencil skirt, sneakers and a baseball jacket is definitely an example of what the cool girl on-the-go wears and this look is going to be hot for a long time to come so do yourselves a favour and invest in each of these items.
