An African content creator showed that there were no limits to getting the best care for her hair when she flew all the way to South Africa to meet up with a hair colourist.
Sitting at over 2.1 million views, the video sees TikToker @itscheymuv make her way to Jade Scheepers, a licensed hairstylist based in Sandton, to get her hair the right shade of blonde.
“She immediately got to work with colour correcting which is what I desperately needed,” said the blonde-haired @itscheymuv, who also asked for a shadow root for her hair to grow out more evenly.
To the TikToker’s despair, the toner that was applied to her hair made the blonde strands darker. Thankfully, there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
“Jade immediately went in with some heat protectant to start the blow-drying process, and I could see my colour kind of come back.”
Once the hair specialist completed trimming and flat ironing her locks, there was no trace of disappointment on @itscheymuv.
