Ways to wear your scarf this season

by Akhona Ndlela
PICTURE: PEXELS/ WINTER SCARVES

Scarves are the perfect cold-weather accessory; they are fashionable, multipurpose, and practical when the temperature starts to drop during the colder months.

Regardless of the occasion or the weather, we are embracing new ways to wear scarves this season that feel unique to your personality.

Not only are scarves a necessity in this cold season, but they are also my favourite winter accessory. Even the most basic outfits feel intentional and complete with their instant warmth, colour, and style.

These chic scarf styles are perfect for a variety of occasions and outfits, and they’re all simple to try.

1. The Traditional Loop

Pull the loose ends of the scarf through the loop after folding it in half and draping it around your neck.

2. The Blanket Wrap

Spread out a long scarf, similar to a shawl, and drape it like a warm blanket across your shoulders.

3. The Infinity Loop

Loop a long scarf around your neck two or three times, tying the ends together.

4. The Belted Drape

To define your silhouette, let the scarf drape long over your shoulders and tie it at the waist.
