Beauty website BYRDIE provides an in-depth description on what the purpose is for these various makeup brushes used in the video.

1. Fan brush: This brush is perfect for applying highlighter, correcting makeup errors, and removing excess powder from eye shadow.

2. Bluffing brush: This light and feathery brush is great for applying full-coverage foundation, blending around the eyes, and contouring the face.

3. Foundation brush: You can apply foundation with angled, flat, or stippling brushes, but flat brushes are ideal for liquid or cream compositions, whereas thick synthetic bristle brushes offer more coverage.

4. All-Over Cream Brush: This domed, round brush is designed to evenly apply and blend all-over skincare products hands-free to maximize product penetration.

5. Brow Brush: An angled brow brush is ultra-handy for applying all kinds of brow products, powders, and waxes. The spoolie is essential for grooming your brows and ensuring a polished finish.

6. Concealer blending brush: To apply concealers beneath the eyes, nose, or blemishes, synthetic brushes are advised for cream or liquid concealers, whereas natural hairbrushes give a lighter coverage.

7. Eyeshadow blending brush: The flat shading brush, which has synthetic bristles that resemble natural hair, is great for applying shimmer hues precisely and evenly, as well as producing a halo eye.

8. Cream Eyes brush: These brushes, shaped to fit eye curves and styles, provide Instagram-worthy eyeshadow blends. They can be slightly pointed at the tip or cut crease.

9. Powder brush: Choose a powder brush based on the powder type and formula (translucent or pressed). Soft, fluffy brushes minimize overapplication and may be used for blush and bronzer.

10. Highlighter brush: A highlight brush, shaped like an enormous crease brush with fluffy bristles, is used to apply highlighter, mix, diffuse, and set under-eye concealer for a subtle glow.
