The soft dreads hairstyle seems to have made a return, as the girlies are doing the trendy hairstyle again.

Once a popular hairstyle in the 2000s, soft dreads was definitely, and still is the hairstyle everybody should try. According to the haircare hub, Darling Africa, the hairstyle became popular because people were able to style it in so many ways not to mention that it lasted for up to 4-6 weeks.

Darling Africa states that even the hairpiece used for the hairstyle was upgraded as they wanted to make it less shinnier so it would give you a more natural look.

Here are some styling suggestions for the soft dread hairstyle from Darling Africa:

  1. Soft dread updo – An adaptable and messy hairstyle that can be achieved through crocheting.
  2. Bob with side part- An uncomplicated and feminine style that can be made more natural by leaving out some hair along the hairline.
