Talk about sustainable beauty: W-Beauty launches refillable range

Sustainable beauty products are definitely where it’s at in 2024, talk about clean, naturally processed beauty products. A game-changer for sure!

Many major beauty brands globally have moved towards processing products in a sustainable. This cleaner approach is very mindful and very demure to the environment and its species.

Local retailer Woolworths recently joined beauty brands by producing WBeauty refillable makeup ranges as a way to curb the pollution and littering problem globally.

Speaking on this new range, the brand’s Beauty Head of Technology and Sourcing, Laura Naidu said, “By introducing refillable options, we are not only providing our customers with exceptional quality products but also taking a definitive step towards reducing unnecessary packaging. All Woolworths beauty products are made with ethically sourced ingredients, are 100% vegan, and endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty, ensuring that our WBeauty range not only makes our customers look and feel good but also contributes to a more sustainable future.”

According to the website, this range is meant to offer buyers the chance to change their makeup products without having to buy new ones that way you are recycling and reusing the same products.

No more spending ridiculous amounts of money on products that you will end up throwing away when done when you can get the make-up range products from eyeshadows, bronzers, powdered blushers, pressed powders and shimmer bricks all in refillables.

Speaking to beauty hub, Vogue, about the era of sustainability beauty, Credo’s VP of impact and sustainability says, “Tossing stuff in the curbside bin and hoping for the best,” adding, “Brands and municipal recycling facilities don’t usually offer guidance, and a lot of plastic beauty packaging doesn’t even have resin identification code on it.”
