Styling tips to help you hide your tummy or ‘fupa’

by Unathi Balele

A lot of women feel self-conscious about their tummies or fupas, especially when their favourite clothes do not fit.

According to Healthline, fat upper pubic area is used as a slang term ‘FUPA’ and it is excess fat over the area right between your hips and above your pubic bone sometimes.

Wearing shapewear can be quite uncomfortable, and sometimes all you want is just to feel confident in your clothes without wearing shape wear. Luckily, it is possible, forget wearing a tight shape wear that will have you feeling uncomfortable the entire day and follow the following styling tips to help hide your fupa:

Wear loose fitting clothes

Wearing loose fitting clothes means that your outfit will have just a little space to fit loosely around your body therefore people won’t be able to see the actual shape of your body.

Wear high waisted jeans

High waisted jeans are definitely your fupa’s best friend. This kind of jean sits on your fupa and hides it perfectly.

Rock Stripes

Any kind of stripes draw attention to the actual stripped clothing piece. When you wear striped skirts, gowns or tops, your fupa will be out of sight.
