Glowing skin comes at a price these days with all the expensive skincare products there are in the beauty market, and you are always searching for ways to make your skin glow.

Tumeric powder is a well-known spice that is not only used in the kitchen but is a remedy for dark marks and spots. Dr Deepak Bhanot says, “It is often applied on the skin of brides and grooms a few days before their wedding day to enhance their complexions and give the skin a glow,” adding, “For cosmetic purposes, it is used as an ingredient in Ayurvedic oils.”

Good Housekeeping reports that the spice treats acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and pigmentation. It calms inflammation, which is the root cause of many skin problems, and improves acne lesions when ingested or applied topically. Turmeric can also be used to heal scars, skin rashes, burns, and other uncomfortable skin conditions. Topical turmeric can lighten dark spots and brighten skin tone by reducing excess production of melanin. Scars, skin rashes, burns, and discolouration can be treated with it.

The above-mentioned source states that it can be used on all skin types but patch testing is vital before fully applying on your skin.

There are so many ways to get glowing skin using Tumeric powder as it helps with so many things. In this video, the creator made a Tumeric face mask using powder, apple cider vinegar, and milk to make a face mask.
