A TikTok creator’s video received an online mixed reaction after she posted a video of her installing her wig before school.

TikTok creator @m.a_hle who is a learner at Curro and also a user-generated creator UGC Creator on the app posted a video of her getting ready for school where she installed her wig leaving some internet users questioning whether it was appropriate for a learner to be wearing wigs at school.

Many schools have distinct codes of conduct that are put in place to ensure that learners follow to the rules, and while wearing a wig at some schools may not be a problem, parents in the comment section believed that.

Many TikTok users took to the comment section to share their thoughts on this hair video.

One user commented: “No wonder at the end of the year we see 0% in Matric at Curro High School.”

Another user said: “Curro is the school for vibes. I’m yet to meet a child from Curro doing Medicine/Engineering.”

Another user added that her daughter would only wear wigs after Matric for now she can do braids and protective hairstyles given that she is still a school child.

One TikTok user alluded that private schools have so much freedom in terms of their dress code and hair rules, adding that, when he was in high school they wouldn’t allow you inside if you didn’t look the part.
