Makeup tips for women who wear glasses

by Unathi Balele

Women who wear glasses look beautiful with makeup but they hardly wear makeup due to the misconception around beating your face when wearing glasses.

The misconception is that applying makeup will be useless because it is most likely to be invisible.
Well, that is not true. Women who wear glasses are allowed to look cute, beat their faces regardless of the glasses.

If you wear glasses and you’re lost on how to look glam, here are some tips on how you can rock you makeup while wearing glasses:

Eyebrows

Most women that wear glasses neglect their eyebrows because they feel the frame of their glasses will cover the brow. Well, stop neglecting your brows because they play a vital role in your look. Keep them shaped, trimmed or tweezed at all times.

Eye Liner

It is true that eyeliners may not be visible on women who wear glasses. However, there are ways you can implement in your makeup routine that will make it possible for you eyeliner to be visible. For example, switch it up with the colour or eyeliner you wear. Wear a colour lighter than your frames so your eyes can pop out. For black frames, you can go for grey, brown or navy liner. For brown frames, you can go for a bronze liner.

Eyeshadows

A bright eyeshadow will work perfectly for ladies that wear eyeglass. Highlight the eyeshadow colours on your lid and medium shade colour in your crease. Make sure you blend in the eyeshadow properly so they can look fleek.

Foundation And Powder

Because your eyes are covered by your glasses, the rest of your face takes the spotlight, which are your cheeks. Take time to work the face and smooth out with the right foundation and/or powder is the best way to keeps the eyes in the spotlight.

Lipstick

For ladies that wear glasses, wear bright coloured or bold lipstick like pink, red, purple and many more. Most times nude lipstick gives a dull look for ladies that wear eyeglasses.
