For some people, winter tends to be a tricky season when it comes to clothes and looking representable. At one point, you want to look fashionably appealing and on the other hand, you want to layer up so that you’re not cold. How do you maintain your fashion standards even on un-conducive weather conditions?

Well, here are some of the fabrics and clothing items that you can never go wrong with in winter.

Winter coat: Online store Superbalist suggest having a “high-quality” and preferably water-resistant winter coat is essential. The coat needs to be versatile so that you can rock it with different outfits.

Cashmere clothing: This fabric is known for its excellent insulating qualities and remarkably soft feel. The online news agency, IOL, recommends the MHC World online store for the most  stylish winter wear. The publication believes that getting the cashmere clothing items from MHC World is an investment as the fabric provides, “Coziness, durability and classic style.” Appropriate cashmere clothing items can be sweaters and cardigans.

Insulated boots: The Fashion Mingle, a global network for fashion industry professionals, advised on insulated boots, stating that these boots are not only great to keep your feet warm but also have a touch of elegance and sophistication in how they are made.

Merino wool clothing: According to IOL , the Merino wool clothing items offered by MHC World are, “perfect for the unpredictable South African winters since it wicks away moisture, keeping you dry and comfortable.” This type of wool is said to be the warmest and softest and is considered the top choice for winter wear.

Thermal pants: Fashion Mingle recommends thermal leggings or pants because they provide an extra layer of insulation and may be worn with a variety of outfits.

Tweed: IOL also recommends tweed clothing from MHC World. The publication mentions that this fabric, that is also available in rainbow colours, “is perfect for making bold garments like blazers, pants, and overcoats. In addition to keeping you warm, its rich weave will give your winter outfit a textured, elegant touch.”
