A social media user has come out and revealed that she was charged nearly R1000 for wig lines. After sharing this information, X (formerly known as Twitter) users went abuzz and reacted, alluding that this was an extensive price to pay for simple wig lines.

While many usually go for wig lines that approximately range between the prices of R100 – R180 at most, an X user with the handle @sbahlens_ expressed that she had got wig lines for R750. As the price caught many X users astounded and complaining that this was rather too much, Sbahle also mentioned in the original post that these had been the worst-looking wig lines.

Just got the worst wig lines done and I paid R750???

The streets of X (formerly Twitter) displayed utter disbelief as netizens found it quite hard to believe that one would be charged R750 for simple wig lines. Many that were left open mouth took to the comment section to say:

What? Lines are R180?

Upon reading these comments, an X user said they will use these prices as an encouragement to learn to do wig plaits, rather than complaining that the prices charged are expensive.
