Here’s the fastest way to grow your hair

by Unathi Balele

Growing your hair is not as complicated as it may seem. Yes you might get discouraged after using certain products for months with no results. However, following the wrong steps for hair growth can break both your bank and the hair you are trying to grow.

It is also important to become patient with the process, it is going to take a few tries and months before you see results but it’ll all be worth it when you start seeing results, eventually.

The WebMD suggests these tips to grow your hair faster:

Cool It Down

Try by all means to use less heat on your hair.Heat can break and damage your hair. If you straighten and blow out your hair often, your hair may not grow as quickly as you’d like. When you do use heat on your hair, make sure to use a heat protector.

Take Care With Color

Yes, experimenting with colour on your hair is fun but when done often and incorrectly, it’ll become detrimental towards your hair goals. Bleach and other chemical hair treatments weaken your hair, so it’s more likely to break before it grows to your desired length.

Get a Trim

The misconception is that getting a trim is the enemy of process when in actual fact it isn’t. Getting a trim means getting rid of the weakest parts of the strands; split ends. Split ends can travel up your hair shafts and make your locks even shorter. However, just don’t cut too much, if growth is your goal.

Take Care With Extensions and Braids

Give your natural hair a break and opt for protective hairstyles which will stimulate growth. Make sure that it is not too tight as it could damage the hair and harm your scalp.

Give Yourself a Massage

According to research studies regular head massages might help hair grow thicker. Try a scalp massaging tool. Or gently press, stretch, and pinch your own scalp for several minutes each day.
