Actress Moliehi Didie Makobane has been hinting at dropping her lip gloss range Didie Lips. Now, the entrepreneur has officially shared the date of the launch.

According to Didie’s cosmetics website, the launch edition of Didie Lips – a nude lip gloss range – will offer “six stunning colours that match any skin tone and allow for absolute room to play!”

Didie, who collaborated with her sister Ntaoleng Langa to launch the products, took to Instagram to share the news. She wrote, “We @house_of_didie are thrilled to announce that Didie Lips will officially be going on sale on the 25TH OF AUGUST 2023!!!! Make sure to follow @house_of_didie for more information on how you can purchase your very own!”

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Didie said, “Didie Lips is here to celebrate unorthodox beauty, it is here to include the uniqueness that has often been overlooked as not conventionally beautiful and, most importantly, Didie Lips is here to empower the individual to share their story. That is to ‘let your lips do the talking.'”

She added that the lip gloss range has been in the works for four years. “The reason I didn’t want to rush it is because I wanted to create a product that has substance for its consumers and is more than just a ‘nice to have’. The exciting aspect about nude colours of this first range is they are specially formulated to adjust to your skin tone and bring out your best features.”
