Rabbit Heart has announced the Christmas in July Family Festival, a two-and-a-half-hour interactive experience for the whole family, to take place on Saturday, 27 July at Gardens CBD in Cape Town.

Known for their unique and creative events, Rabbit Heart is ready to ‘bring the magic of Christmas to life’ in the middle of the year.

Rabbit Heart started their journey at AfrikaBurn, where their crew gained a reputation for ‘creating immersive and unforgettable experiences’.

Since then, they have brought their creativity and passion to a variety of events, focusing on making dreams come true and imaginations soar.

The Christmas in July Family Festival offers a day filled with festive activities, enchanting surprises, and jolly good times.

‘We’re excited to bring the joy of Christmas to the middle of the year with our Christmas in July Family Festival,’ said Ziggy Francisco, founder of Rabbit Heart.

‘Our events are all about creating magical experiences, and this festival will be no different. We can’t wait to see the smiles on everyone’s faces,’ Francisco added.

Event highlights include:

  • Soft play areas, which are safe and fun spaces for the younger guests to explore
  • Karaoke gingerbread house, where you can sing your favourite Christmas carols
  • Creative activity zone, where you can express your creativity through decorating, creating, and participating in various holiday-themed crafts
  • Bouncy houses
  • A silent disco, where you can dance to your own beat in a magical igloo
  • Secret Santa gift exchange, where you can share the joy of giving with surprise gifts.
  • A puppet theatre, consisting of shadow puppets that’s fun for all ages.
  • A life-sized Snow globe you can step inside for a picture-perfect moment.
  • Santa’s Bakery where you can indulge in delicious hot chocolate bombs, festive cookies and other sweet treats

The festival will be split into two sessions to accommodate more families while ensuring an ‘intimate and enjoyable’ experience. However, only 100 tickets are available per session, so early-bird tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

Early bird tickets are currently available and can be purchased through Howler.

Details:

  • Date: Saturday, 27 July
  • Session Times: 10am-12:30pm OR 1:30pm-4pm
  • Location: Growing Minds, 72 Barnet St, Gardens, Cape Town
