Autumn-ready boot trends to step up your style game

Boot season has stepped onto the runway and has been trickling into retail with full force. The autumn/winter season will see many boot styles echoing from seasons past, but there are some new features and updates to a few of our favourites. Here are boot trends that are set to sell out in autumn and winter this year:

Cowboy Boots

Howdy, cowgirl! The Western-inspired trend is huge this season and nothing screams western more than cowboy boots.

Thick boho chic. Giving a nod to Y2K, cowboy boots will be a seasonal boot essential this year. Cowboy boots naturally make a bold statement but they’re so versatile, too. From a stylish work look to pairing them with an autumn-flowing dress on the weekend, there’s so much you can do. Once you find the perfect pair, you’ll never want to take them off.

There’s something about the boot that subtly elevates you from the heels. They’ve got a flattering shape that screams sophisticated, yet fun.

If you’re not quite ready to fully get your line dance on – try the style in a solid versatile colour like black or brown.

Style Tip: For a casual yet chic western-inspired outfit, pair a maxi denim skirt with a classic white T-shirt or shirt. Slip on your cowboy boots and you are ready to go.

Satin Boots

We were surprised to see this style pop back on the fashion radar, but satin boots are set to be big this season. In long or short length – they’re the perfect for a chic evening boot. The satin fabrication can really elevate a look to sophisticated status.

Style Tip: Pair your satin boots with a satin slip skirt. Keep your top a bit more fitted and dropped a jacket or coat over your shoulders

Faux-Animal Boots

Bring out your wild side! A faux animal print, textured boot might be considered a classic, but with a hint of luxury and a tinge of grunge, faux animal boots will find their spot in must-have fashion for the season.

Style Tip: Keep the rest of your outfit in fairly natural tones to allow the boot to have a stand-out moment. An elevated casual look will be perfect for this boot.

Thigh Highs

This is a sexy and seductive style that will elevate your confidence, if you can pull it off. Once you pull up your thigh-highs, you feel powerful! We’ve seen this style through many fabrications but the Payton leather is still a classic fave.

Style Tip: Just because the boots are long, it doesn’t mean you need to keep the rest of your outfit short. A midi or maxi dress will be ultra stylish over thigh high boots
