Glowing skin doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag. While store-bought night creams promise miracles, many are packed with ingredients we can’t even pronounce—let alone trust. Not to worry, though, because some of the best skincare solutions are already sitting in your kitchen.

With a few simple, inexpensive ingredients, you can whip up a nourishing homemade night cream that hydrates, brightens, and soothes your skin while you sleep. No fancy packaging, no gimmicks—just pure, skin-loving goodness made with love (and maybe a little trial and error).

According to HealthShots, aloe vera night cream is a natural remedy for pimples and acne, with anti-aging and moisturising properties. It is said to contain amino acids that soften skin cells, enhance texture, and boost collagen production. The cream is made by extracting aloe vera, combining lavender and primrose oil, and applying daily, adding the above source.

The above source continues to state that a study published in anti-inflammatory and anti-allergy agents medical found that green tea night cream contains antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, and aloe vera. The cream is said to be made by boiling almond oil, rose water, essential oils, aloe vera juice, and beeswax in a double boiler, and then applied to the skin.

The HerZindagi publication suggests a yoghurt and rice night cream, which consists of blended rice flour, yoghurt, and honey for a creamy, exfoliating night cream.

“This cream will brighten your complexion and help hydrate your skin, thanks to the exfoliating properties of yoghurt and the moisturising effects of honey.”  It is then advised that you apply it on your face and neck, allowing it to sink overnight.
