Former Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi has begun her University tour in South Africa. As a Public Relations graduate and proud alumna of Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), Zozibini’s tour started at CPUT for their First Year Open Day.

The Beauty Queen expressed her excitement in returning to the university where she graduated and described the experience as a full circle moment. Zozibini took to Instagram to share her reflections on the day spent CPUT campus.

“What an incredible way to kick off my University Tour. I had the opportunity to start at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (@wearecput ) for their First Year Open Day which was special as I am an Alumni there. The last time I stood on those grounds was on my graduation day. To come back now is a surreal full circle because I was seeing my past in the students and hopefully they saw their future in me for I am them and they are me,” the 29 year old wrote.

She then concluded by wishing all the students the best for their academic journey.

“This is the beginning of an exciting time of their lives. They will be challenged and tested, but it is not all for nothing. Who they come out to be at the end of the line will be glorious. Wishing them nothing but the best in their journey ❤,” she concluded.

Miss Tunzi’s second stop was at the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) for the remainder of their first-year orientation. She believes that engaging with first-year students is crucial as this is a pivotal time in their lives where they will learn to fail and succeed.

She then posted some heartwarming pictures on Instagram of the day she had with the first years at WITS, the engagement she received was beautiful and she is excited for the rest of her tour.

“Our second stop of the University Tour was at the University of The Witwatersrand (@wits__university ) for the remainder of their first year orientation. I was insistent on engaging with first year students because this is a very pivotal time of their lives. Their university career is where they will learn to fail and succeed. A moulding of the kind of human being they will become happens here. I know this because a huge part of who I am was built during this stage of my life. This was a beautiful engagement and I am extremely excited for all the other institutions I am still to go to. I hope you all have a successful academic year❤️,” she captioned the pictures.
