Fans of the e.tv show Smoke and Mirrors will reportedly not be seeing celebrated actor Zolisa Xaluva on the show in the near future.

According to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, Zolisa – who played the ruthless businessman Caesar – did not leave Smoke and Mirrors on his own accord but was instead fired from the show.

Breaking the news on X (formerly Twitter), Phil shared the following post:

“Zolisa Xaluva fired from #etvSmokeAndMirrors. The prolific award-winning actor has been let go from the hit etv telenovela — which is the 7th most watched show in South Africa. The role of ruthless businessman, Caesar, will likely be recast.”

Wherever he is going next, I’m going with him. Guy is good. He can never do any wrong in my eyes.
