Actor Zolisa Xaluva remembers the late actor and TV producer Shona Ferguson in an emotional post, which he made on his twitter account.

“It’s at times like these I miss this guy,” he wrote in the caption to a photo of the two of them. “He would always say: ‘For each hater you have, you have 1000 people who love you. Embrace their love, throw away the hate,” he wrote. The King of Joburg star also thanked his fans at the end of his tribute post to the late media mogul.

Thanks to my loyal family, supporters, and friends,” he continued. “Let’s keep going,” Zolisa added.

The media mogul Shona Ferguson died in July 2021 from complications related to Covid-19. His death sent shock waves across the nation leaving many devastated as it was sad to be true.

Zolisa and the late media mogul played as on-screen brothers in the hit series drama on Netflix, titled King of Joburg. Season two is set to premiere in 2023. The King of Joburg follows the Masire brothers (which was played by the late Shona Ferguson and Zolisa Xaluva) – who run Johannesburg’s criminal underworld – as they navigate a supernatural family curse and a tangled web of betrayal which threatens to destroy them.
