
Miss World South Africa, Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg recently clinched the World Designer Award after she strutted the stage in an iconic masterpiece designed by Juan William.
Representing South Africa at the 72nd Miss World Top Model competition, Zoalize was donned in a dress crafted from satin glass fabric, adorned with custom artwork and hand-embroidered motifs. The gown paid tribute to the national flower, with its hand embroidery of the Protea on the chest and the bottom of the dress.
This prestigious event that acknowledges different talents from every part of the world was hosted at Trident Hotel in Hyderabad, India by Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle.
Miss World took to their Instagram page to share pictures of Zoalize in the breathtaking gown. Zoalize expressed her deep gratitude to the designer, calling the gown “a celebration of who we are as a people—diverse, rooted, and proud.”
